Home remedies for constipation

 Constipation is a common digestive problem that can cause discomfort and daily routines. While over-the-counter medications can provide relief, there are several effective home remedies that can help relieve constipation naturally.

Drink more water:-

 Drinking enough water is very important to maintain healthy digestion. Water helps soften the stool, making it easier to pass. It is recommended to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day to prevent constipation.


Increase fiber intake:-

 Fiber is very important for regular bowel movements. Include fiber-rich foods in your diet such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes. Increase your fiber intake gradually to avoid bloating or gas.

Exercise regularly:-

 Physical activity can help stimulate your bowel muscles, promoting bowel movements. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day, such as walking, jogging or yoga.

Strain the juice:-

 Prune juice is a natural laxative that can help soften stools and improve bowel movements. Drink a glass of prune juice in the morning or before bed to relieve constipation.

Probiotics:-

 Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that can help regulate digestion and improve gut health. Include probiotic-rich foods such as yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut in your diet to improve bowel regularity.

Avoid processed foods:-

Gourd:-

 Bitter gourd or milkweed leaves can show laxative properties. You can use a bottle of fresh bitter gourd leaves to relieve constipation. Prepare chutney using fresh leaves. This chutney can be taken with food.

 Betel leaves can aid in digestion and help release digestive juices, bloating and gas. Betel nut can also help relieve constipation. Chewing some fresh betel nut after every meal can aid digestion and relieve constipation.

 Guava fruit, also known as guava in Hindi, is commonly consumed in many Indian households. Guava fruit has many health benefits. It can be used as a good source of nutrients. It can act as a laxative (helps ease bowel movements). You can eat fresh guava to relieve constipation.
